IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Legendary entertainer Tony Bennett, who’ll turn 90 on Aug. 3, joins OPTX Rhode Island owners Dr. Giulio G. Diamante and his wife Lynne Diamante, Esq., during their recent appearance at the Friars Club in New York City.

Accomplished and respected as an eye physician and surgeon, Dr. Diamante has nurtured his ever-growing ophthalmology practice for twenty years. His insistence upon the highest quality practice is reflected in every detail. With over 30,000 microsurgical procedures performed, Dr. Diamante offers his patients unsurpassed experience, advanced eye care, and unmatched surgical results.

As Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School, Dr. Diamante is a leader, teaching the latest surgical techniques and advances in ophthalmology to medical students and residents. He lectures to other recognized physicians at national ophthalmology conferences and serves as a mentor to many young ophthalmologists across the country.

Dr. Diamante quickly establishes trust and a wonderful rapport with his patients, attune to their needs. He is an attentive listener and spends ample time to address every concern. Medically astute and genuinely personable, Dr. Diamante is directly involved with every patient. This level of personalized care has led his practice to quickly become one of the largest in New England.

Outside of his many professional achievements, Dr. Diamante enjoys a good personal balance in his life and takes great pleasure in spending time with his family and traveling.
